JAGFuse is a two-component polyurethane with excellent adhesion, high mechanical properties, and good chemical resistance. 

 

Two-component solutions are made by mixing resin and a hardener before application (such as polyols and poly-isocyanate polymers). While the ratios of each component may vary, proper mix ratio and complete mixing are vital to cause a chemical reaction and reach suitable properties for a specific application. JAGFuse offers all the advantages of single-component polyurethane adhesives but offers faster curing through large gaps and doesn’t require moisture or heat to cure - increasing production efficiency and reducing installation delays.

JAGFuse 2-part PU adhesive has a high bond strength, making it suitable for various applications, including bonding metals, plastics, composites, and more. Its durability means it offers enhanced resistance to environmental factors such as moisture, heat and chemicals, good temperature resistance to extreme cold and heat, and resistance to many chemicals, oils, and solvents.

Polyurethane adhesives are easy to handle and apply and maintain flexibility after curing, making them suitable for applications that experience movement, vibration, or thermal expansion and contraction.

In addition, JAGFuse has excellent gap-filling properties and can bond to irregular surfaces or substrates with imperfect fits, reducing the need for precise surface preparation.

 

Please note that where subsequent layers above the adhesive require 2-part PU systems – e.g. priming, sealing, or wear coats, it's recommended to use a 2-part PU adhesive since the moisture in the water-based acrylic can interfere with these coatings.
